KYRIE 5's new sole design was inspired by a tattoo of Fatima's hand on Irving's left arm, a symbol of protection from bad luck. He wanted the cheap kyrie shoes to show more of the details of his life than just a pair of basketball shoes, which allowed us to incorporate his ideas into the design.
