As Jordan Brand begins to prepare its spring offering, the Beaverton based brand is looking for introspective themes to lead the design elements for its upcoming release. Robin Williams famously used the poem in "Dead Poets Society," The Floral imagery in Robert Herrick's poem "To the Virgin" became a major inspiration for Air Jordan 1 Mid's "Floral Bed". As a result, floral and pastel tones envelp the entire silhouette, casting a "sail" hue over its polished leather overlay, while pistachios, which have always been so light, fill in the smooth leather underlayer. In stark contrast, vibrant violets match LACES and insoles in tandem with heel and collar panels, while contrasting reds rarely apply inclusions to their tongue linings and branding. In soft fashion, the rose gold Swoosh logo extends in high fashion along the sides of the silhouette, followed by a series of bustling floral images adorning the ankle's hidden base as well as the translucent outsole accentuating the tread. The brand packaging is also the first line of Herrick's poem, echoing the attributes of each flower that appears on the outline.
